Excellent transport links with Europe
Eberswalde, located just 50 kilometres north east of Berlin, is connected with the region and beyond by road, rail, water and air links. In future 110m-long self-propelled barges carrying loads of up to 104 TEU will be able to pass here using the new, 12-kilometre-long Niederfinow Boat Lift that is being built.
